David Ogilvy was a British business tycoon, the founder of Ogilvy & Mather, and know as the “Father of Advertising”.
Ogilvy wrote the book Confessions of an Advertising Man which is considered a required reading in many advertising classes in the United States.
Funny fact about the book. Since Ogilvy himself was an advertising copywriter for a long time, the book is written as though the entire book is advertising copy. What more need one to say?
