Leadership is solving problems. The day soldiers stop bringing you their problems is the day you have stopped leading them. They have either lost confidence that you can help or concluded you do not care. Either case is a failure of leadership.

Colin Luther Powell was an American politician, diplomat, and United States Army officer. Powell served as the 65th United States secretary of state from 2001 to 2005. He also was the first African-American secretary of state.
Did you know that Powell received the Legion of Merit award and the Bronze Star, the Air Medal, Soldier’s Medal, and not one but two Purple Hearts? Amazing.
